Right thing may be the hard thing

December 22, 2016

I am going to be completely REAL with you for a moment ...

Sometimes the right thing to do is the hardest & sometimes uncomfortable thing to do; especially when it’s something you desire (want), have habit of doing or may have ingrained within you. Picking up your cross daily (dying to selfishness), to follow Christ is NOT about ourselves, but truly HONORING God through everything. Trusting that HIS plans, HIS ways & HIS Word are far better for you than any future you have planned for yourself. To turn away from His calling & leading; is to take on life by yourself, but trusting Him will always bring you back to a place of holiness, hope & love.

Following God & His principles within The Bible may not always be the easiest thing to do (we are human & we struggle; I’m right there with you!), but it is something we MUST do. Remain close to God, doing what is right (not always comfortable) & trust that He will lead every step of the way….not relying on our own understanding & not trying to figure everything out (I’m extremely familiar with this too). For any and ALL circumstances & situations in your life……Trust God.

Most important thing to remember: He loves you | He cherishes you | He is PROUD of you | He accepts you are HUMAN | He understands you for exactly who you are | He will NEVER let you down | His forgiveness, acceptance & love is unconditional.

Praying for all of you today & also myself; to live by God’s WORD & not by our own feelings, wants & needs~ It is ALWAYS worth it. ALWAYS. I needed this today & felt so strongly in my Spirit that others do too~!!

"Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil!
